01What a cookie is here
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep. Related technologies do the same job by other means: local storage holds a value in the browser, and a session token proves you are still signed in.
We use few of them, and we use them for the service rather than for surveillance. There is no advertising network embedded in AS9 and no third party watching you across the internet on our behalf.
02What we store, by purpose
We do not set advertising cookies, we do not run retargeting pixels, and we do not sell or share what your browser tells us with anyone for advertising.
03Your control
Every browser can block or delete cookies, and most can do it per site. If you block the necessary ones you will not be able to stay signed in, which is a limitation of how sign-in works rather than a punishment.
We honor the Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends that signal we treat it as an instruction to stop any sale or sharing of your personal information, and we do not require you to also click something.
Where the law requires consent before non-essential storage, we ask before setting anything beyond what is necessary, and declining is a single action rather than a menu designed to exhaust you.
04Changes and questions
If we add a new category of storage we update this page and change the effective date before the change goes live.
